
Amber Lalani APRN, FNP-C
Amber developed a passion for healthcare at an early age. This passion led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the prestigious Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. Her education not only equipped her with essential nursing skills but also instilled a deep commitment to patient care.
Career in Nursing
In 2015, Amber made the bold decision to move to Texas, where she began her professional journey as a Registered Nurse (RN) at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Specializing in oncology, she provided compassionate care to patients battling cancer for three years. Her dedication and expertise later led her to a role on a telemetry floor at Baylor Heart Hospital Plano, where she further honed her clinical skills in a high-stakes environment.
While building her career, Amber and her husband also started a family. They are now the proud parents of two beautiful children, who inspire and motivate them daily. Balancing work and family life, Amber cherishes moments spent traveling, socializing, and engaging in recreational activities such as pickleball.
Advanced Education and Current Role
Driven by a desire to expand her impact in healthcare, Amber pursued a Master of Science in Nursing at Texas Woman’s University. This advanced education prepared her for the next chapter in her career, and in May 2023, she achieved her goal of becoming a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner. In this role, Amber continues to provide holistic care to families, drawing on their diverse experiences and commitment to improving patient outcomes.
With a rich background in nursing and a deep connection to both her Pakistani roots and Texas community, Amber is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those she serves. Her journey reflects a blend of professional achievement, personal fulfillment, and a passion for lifelong learning.
